LATEST POST ABOUT LEARNING AT HOME, March 19th

Dear Third Grade Families,

How are you?  I hope everyone is doing well!  I miss all my students.  I am going to try and make this as simple and clear as possible.  I know that you have received a lot of information as to where to go from here.  To clarify, the district has created an amazing resource for you to use between now and Wednesday.  The expectation is you click on the link for grades 3-4 and utilize the ideas for learning.  This is optional enrichment.  This is the ONLY expectation until next Wednesday.

NEXT WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25th

Under a link on the district page, you will be able to find our North Beverly website.  You can access my google classroom here.

Google classroom is where I will communicate with them going forward from now.

This minimizes all the emails.  I am trying to be intentional and sending only what you need to know.  If you need directions, I can give those instructions to you.  You need your email address that the kids use at school all the time.  If a student forgets their username or password, I can provide it to you.  Most students should remember their usernames and passwords.  They will see their assignments under "classwork".   We are working on some great things to keep them highly engaged.  I appreciate your patience but I am so excited about the great learning that will continue.

This is all you need to know.  They can email me directly if they need help and I can walk them through anything.  This is part of my JOB and it should not create more stress for you.

If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to email me at jbelmonte@beverlyschools.org

All the best!

Snacks

Dear Families,

Please remember to pack a healthy morning snack for your child.  It's very important students have energy for their learning.

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

GREEN FOLDER WORK on weekends

Students should take home their green folders over the weekends and finish any incomplete literacy assignments.

Also, I may send home student work that I feel they can do a better job on.

Teacher Appreciation

Dear Parents,

Thanks for helping with the Teacher Appreciation project! Mr. B liked his Ficus tree, desk items and card and the decorated door which had leaves with each kids name, as well as their quotes about how he has helped them GROW this year, which included things from reading, confidence, help presenting book reports, fractions, math, writing, kindness and more. I know we are all so appreciative too that our kids have an awesome teacher. Thank you for all you do every day for our kids Mr.Belmonte!

Mr.B Class Activity Pics Nov/Dec

Dear 3rd Grade Families,
Below you will find some recent pictures of Mr.B's class from Thanksgiving, the visit from Plimouth Plantation where they got to see lots of items people used back when The Mayflower crossed over from England, a couple of lucky kids even got to dress up! There are also a few from the recent lesson on Ecosystems with Change is Simple.
Enjoy!
